10/10 Olympic Yacht Show 2024

The President attended the opening of the 4th Olympic Yacht Show. The exhibition was opened by, among others, the Minister of Tourism Ms Kefalogianni and the Deputy Minister of Shipping Mr Gikas. The General Secretary of Ports, Mr. Kyriazopoulos, was also present, with whom there was an extensive conversation on general industry issues, the pharmacy and e-registry.

The members of the Board expressed their sadness at his loss and their deep and sincere condolences to his family.

22/10. Privatization of the Port of Lavrio Conference

Lavrio Port Privatization Conference - The present and the future of marine tourism in Lavrio

The local shipowners& union of Lavrio - Ippokampos organized this day under the auspices of SITESAP. The Deputy Minister of Shipping, Mr. Gikas, the Mayor of Lavrio, Mr. Loukas, the MP, Mr. Petsas, the CEO of ΟLL, Mr. Vakondios, the special associate of the Minister of State, Mr. Voridis, Ms. Valmari, and the Harbor Master of Lavrio, Mr. Zoubos, attended. In their speeches, the president of Hippocampus and the president of SITESAP emphasized the need to install floating jetties in the port of Lavrio, the development of the existing infrastructure and the allocation of at least 80% of the new seats on professional tourist boats.
