Cable tie-up of ships in Ports
After complaints from members about the Nafplio cables we contacted the president of the Nafplio Port Fund to find out about the situation. We then sent a letter to the Ministry of Shipping in order to clarify the status of the cable tie. The response we received from the Port Police Directorate was vague. For this reason, the issue has been included in the topics to be discussed in the upcoming meeting with the Minister.
Traffic lights at the entrances of Marina Alimos
Due to the heavy traffic jams that occur on Friday and Saturday at the exits of the marina because the traffic lights remain red for a long time, a relevant letter was sent to the Ministry of Transport for their better regulation.

Questionnaire
A questionnaire was sent to the members regarding the registration of vessels and companies, the ports of operation, the type of operation and also the submission of proposals to the Board of Directors. It is a process that takes very little time to complete and is done online. The Board of Directors requests members to complete it as soon as possible.
Environmental organization iSea
The Board of Directors is discussing with the iSea organization to find ways of cooperation in the context of environmental protection.
Concession of the port of Igoumenitsa and shelters of Sivota, Sayada and Plataria.
The Board of Directors participated at the invitation of the Permanent Trade Committee of the Parliament in the meeting for the concession of the Port of Igoumenis (you foresee the construction of a marina) and the shelters of Sivota, Sayada and Plataria. From our side, the issue of ensuring the presence of professional tourist boats in these infrastructures was raised, as well as the cost of berthing, which is constantly increasing in the granted marinas.
Extension of operation of the Corinth Canal
In consultation with EPEST and PENETIS unions we submitted a request to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for the extension of the operation of the Corinth Canal until 31/10/23. The request was accepted by the Deputy Minister Mr. Nikolaos Tahios.
Appeal to the STE for VAT. in Charters
The scheduled discussion of our appeal to the STE on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 has been postponed to 4/17/2024.
3rd Panhellenic Yachting Conference 22 & 23/2/2024
At the request of the organizing committee, the conference was given the patronage of SITESAP for the said conference.
